Who the course is for

The course is a basic foundation for community safety staff, rangers, new security staff, small business managers, and planning and architecture professionals who are new to CPTED.

What you will learn

The course gives a basic grounding in the physical CPTED principles used to reduce crime. Each of the 10 lessons includes a CPTED activity and a short multiple-choice assessment.

This course does not cover the social and environmental CPTED methods of the international standard ISO 22341:2021. Those are taught in the six-week Online ICA-approved Class-A CPTED Training.

A personalised and recorded certificate is awarded when you complete the course with an average mark of 70% or more.
